The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists is one of the oldest Art Societies in the UK. As early as 1807, Samuel Lines opened an Academy teaching students, several of whom became famous in the art world.
'Journey'

With travel as its theme, this exhibition will take you around the world. All of the featured artists take inspiration for their work through their diverse backgrounds and travel experiences. The work of some of Britain’s leading designer-makers will be on display, which will include jewellery and studio ceramics and textiles.
